Dr. Haneen Abushammala has been awarded with the DGKK Award for the best presentation at the German Conference on Crystal Growth (DKT 2024) that was held on Erlangen on March 5-8, 2024. Her presentation on “Single-crystal growth of the hole-doped Mott insulator BaCoS2 from high-temperature solutions” has captivated the diverse audience of the German Society for Crystal Growth (DGKK) with a striking example of the development of a self-flux growth. Haneen has been working on this challenging project as a postdoc with us for the past two years. Congratulations, Haneen!
